Book Review: The Sheeriyth Imperative by Dr. Michael Lake

The Sheeriyth Imperative

Empowering the Remnant to Overcome the Gates of Hell

by Dr. Michael Lake

After reading the first book in this series on preparing the remnant I was anxious to know what the author had to say about empowerment of the remnant. Where the first book shattered some of my beliefs this one deeply convicted my heart on preparing myself for spiritual warfare. Things that God has been whispering to me for weeks or even months are pointed out as ways to prepare my soul and spirit for warfare in these times. A confirmation of what the Lord is expecting me to do to be prepared in these times.

There are a lot of references in the book that went over my head.  For people who have a formal Bible education I’m sure those parts will have more in depth meaning. But, the crux of the message was still clear to me. Within the book are a number of charts and photos and I had to get my magnifying glass out so I could read the words in them. For a visual learner I recommend having a magnifier on hand. There are some copy edit issues that were noticeable to me, but, the teaching is not weakened because of them.

The message in this book is powerful. Many weak Christians, those that are asleep spiritually speaking, will be offended by some of what is pointed out about their religious practices and beliefs. Others who are honestly seeking God will be awakened to the perils of remaining in the Babylonian influenced Laodicean church.  This book, along with the previous book The Shinar Directive, is designed to teach God’s people how to survive the spiritual warfare that we have to battle daily not only in our own lives but our families, churches, communities, nations, and the entire world. We learn the nature of the first, second, and third heaven as they come into play in spiritual warfare. It is a wake up call to all Christians who truly love the Lord and want to be part of his Kingdom.

If you have not read the entire Bible and are not daily into the Word of God then you may not be ready for this book. I’d recommend getting into the Word then picking up this series and growing as you remain in the Word daily. Excellent and enlightening teaching by Dr. Lake. Worth having in your library and reading more than once.

About grandmapeachy

I am a retired grandmother and amateur quilter. Generally I do not discuss religion and politics with people other than my family and even then I do more listening than talking. Because I dislike confrontation this blog is a way for me to express opinions that I hold on these and other issues without having to delve into controversial discussions with others who may not agree with me. I am also an avid supporter of indie authors. There are a lot of great books that are not available through traditional publishing and I believe that these stories need to be brought to the attention of the reading public.
