Usually I review books written by the Indie Author Community that I’ve been supporting for almost two years now. Today, however, this author, who is also independent with his own publishing company as well, Spiral of Life. I’ve been watching L. A. Marzulli videos on YouTube for about a year and have wanted to read his books and watch his films. This author and his films are on the order of History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, but, he has a different view of just who the aliens really are and where they originate. On to my reviews.
On the Trail of the Nephilim, Volume 1 by L. A. Marzulli
I think I’ve read the books out of order because the two I’ve read so far both make reference to things contained in a third book, which I think must be the first. On the Trail of the Nephilim is written much in the same way Mr. Marzulli speaks in his Politics, Prophesy & the Supernatural Report videos. Included in the book are a number of old newspaper articles, most of which he has images then the text of the articles. These articles from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s are about archaeological finds of giant skeletons from across North America. He points out that even though many would say that the articles are exaggerations to sell news papers there are too many archived to not have some validity to the claims.
In the book he connects the giant skeletons with the Nephilim of the Bible and the myriad of unexplained ancient structures. The theories proposed in the book seem to be well researched and well documented. The ideas are plausible, more so, to me than the Ancient Aliens theories of secular television. The book is easy to read because of it’s conversational style. The point he is trying to make is repeated a number of times and I the distinct impression he is adamant that people need to know and it’s his mission to make it known.
Now I’ll have to get the Kindle edition of Volume II and read it.
Days of Chaos: An end times handbook by L. A. Marzulli
In this book Marzulli covers more of the political aspect relating to end times prophesy. Days of Chaos includes a lot of the posts he has written over the last few years on his blog. Between those reprinted posts he makes updated commentary to support the validity of the political opinions he wrote in previous years. I found it to be a little more repetitive than the Nephilim book. The current political atmosphere is compared to Biblical prophesy. In the Kindle edition there are a lot of links to web sites that he refers to in the text. I found that many of those links were no longer working, or at least I could not access them from my iPhone’s Kindle app. Those that were good links I went to and read the articles or watched the videos. This extended the time it took to read the book, but, was well worth going to those links for the additional information.
The author keeps up with politics from all over the world and related events and situations to specific Biblical prophesy. Here again he appears adamant that people need to be paying attention to the political atmosphere worldwide and understand just where we are in Biblical prophesy of the end times. There is feeling of urgency in his writing. Again, though there were a lot of links to follow, the book itself is in an easy to read conversational style.
If you wonder about the unexplained and supernatural things that occur in the world today then this author has a Biblical based view of ancient structures, UFO’s and strange events that occur around the world. Read it for yourself and make up your own mind. That is what L. A. Marzulli would say. He is just putting the information out there and proposing his own theories to explain what he finds in his research.
I will be reading more of this author’s books as the topics he covers are of great interest to me. I recently ordered his Watchers series DVD set and am looking forward to viewing them. I’ll probably do a marathon since I am retired I can do that. In the mean time I think I’ll start his book The Cosmic Chess Match that these two books referenced. Check out the links to his books, blog and videos.
