I Believe in Conspiracies

My best hatYears ago if someone started spouting about government conspiracies I would just ignore what they said and think to myself they are some conspiracy theory nut. Then in October of 1992 I was listening to a broadcast of Rush Limbaugh and he was so adamantly denying any kind of government conspiracy in such a way that my heart told me he was privy to it and intent upon keeping it a secret. That day I was convinced that there is government conspiracy going on.  I didn’t care, it wouldn’t change my day to day life. In that period of my life it didn’t. Cell phones were not as widespread and smart phones were a thing of the future just a dream.

Today almost everyone has a cell phone and soon all of them will be tiny computers we carry around with us that have GPS tracking, Internet access, cameras and video cameras and all sorts of apps we download to these tiny computer devices we call smart phones. Now our lives could easily be monitored and most are either unaware or don’t care. I was the didn’t care kind until just recently.

I use my phone for most of my computing technology. I’m writing this on my phone as a matter of fact. YouTube videos are among the things I access on this device. As I’ve written in other posts, I’ve been watching a lot of channels that deal in end times prophesy. Almost all of them report on current world events and politics around the world. Some of the news in Europe and the Middle East is not really covered here in the US. Other non-news things are covered instead and I think it is to blind the common citizenry to what is really happening both here and around the globe.

Back to why I believe in government conspiracy. The evidence to me is the personal effect of my recent Internet surfing. My carrier is Verizon and I’ve had my same phone number since long before I got a smart phone, over 11 years now. When I first got this phone my internet surfing was primarily FB, some Amazon shopping and searching about topics that interest me, quilting, natural treatments for illness, and other topics of a non-political or religious nature that would spark my interest. A few weeks ago I became interested in the archeology of giants. I’d been an avid watcher of things like Ancient Aliens on TV and though I never believed in the alien theory and always viewed the programs from my personal faith perspective I had not done any internet research into what others were saying about the phenomena. But finding some websites discussing these giants it became apparent that the evidence had been suppressed to the general public. After all, giants don’t fit into the evolutionary theory of mans development. I could understand the why of that cover up.

Somewhere in there I learned about the discussions among Christian scholars about the giant skeletons and the Nephilim. I knew this just from my own Bible reading over the years. The topic interests me and finding giant skeletons just confirms the Biblical account.  The unearthing of giant skeletons that are found disappear and are never discussed because non-Christian evolutionists don’t like having their religion disproven. Don’t be deceived, evolution is a religion. The search for sites about giant skeletons, Nephilim and UFOs led me to places that discussed end times prophesy and modern day prophesies. I view the modern prophets with some reserve. We’ll see if their prophecies come to pass. If a prophesy talks about repentance I give it more credence. OT prophets were always calling the people to repent.

These links introduced me to more rational video channels that keep up with world events and link them to Biblical prophesy of the end times. Geological events, political events, events regarding Israel are all suppressed the news media. Our attention is diverted by the news of chaos around the country, issues that should not be issues such at the transgender bathroom issue which is just a smoke screen. Who cares if you look and dress like a woman then none of us are going to go checking to see if you have the female plumbing when you come into the public restroom to use the toilet. Honestly!

Since I have been watching several of these YouTube channels and been making my own comments on my FB I’ve begun to have issues with my smart phone connectivity. Videos will stop loading, my wifi setting gets automatically cut off and I have to reset it. FB posts won’t post I have to “retry” often. I am getting a bit paranoid about the problems I’m having. These issues don’t come up when I look at mundane things on my phone or post mundane comments. Not one of my book reviews have a problem posting, not one of my comments or posts to various indie author related pages has a problem. The only problems I have are with posts and videos related political or religious commentary. Seems pretty fishy to me and I think I’m experiencing a form of censorship and harassment because of what I watch and the Christian perspective of my comments on politics and religion. So, yes, I believe in conspiracy theories. What’s more, the news I glean from around the world makes it evident that our government is covering up their actions and suppressing information on relevant political events, alliances and deals from other parts of the world. Do we hear much of anything on our news outlets about the massive build up of NATO tanks and personnel carriers in countries along the Russian border? Are we told who began the build up first? Are we told that Putin is reacting to the sabre rattling at his border?  No, we are told about his arms build up and the need to do something to stabilize the area without being informed of what happened first to threaten Russia. I watched a video on one of my YouTube channels of a press conference by Putin with foreign journalist, it was translated and verified by a reliable source that the translation was accurate. Putin may be many things, but he does want to protect his people and is extremely frustrated with the media, as we all should be. He tells them they are being lied to by their countries and ultimately he says I don’t know how to get through to you. His body language reflected that he was quite sincere in what he was saying.

I don’t know the extent of cover ups, misdirections, and out right lies told to the American people, but I suspect that much of the turmoil we are experiencing in this country is actually stirred up on purpose by our government to keeps our eyes and minds off the really important things going on. Our freedoms are being eroded and our attention distracted so we don’t realize the threat our own government poses.

I also believe that we are in the birth pangs spoken of that lead to the time of tribulation written about in the Bible. I think it will get a lot worse before the actual tribulation and I may not live to see that time, but maybe my children and probably my grandchildren will live to see it. I may be wrong, God certainly won’t reveal the day or hour. It will come upon us as a thief in the night. If we had known about the thief we’d have been prepared. Well, we are told what to look for and we should be prepared. Don’t be deceived by the move toward a unified one world religion and a one world government. This will not bring the peace we long for, it will be a false peace at the expense of our individual rights and freedoms.

The only way to protect yourself is to accept Jesus, Yeshua Messiah as your personal Lord and Savior. Believing He exists us not enough, even the demons believe and tremble. Ask Jesus to forgive your sins and come into your heart to be the Lord and Saviour of your life. He is faithful and just and will forgive you of all sin. His love is unconditional and He will never fail you. It is by faith that you believe and by grace that you are saved. If you’ve never accepted Christ as your personal saviour then I encourage you do so. I encourage believers to pay attention, study your Bible and learn just what to look for so you are not deceived.

My daughter says I’m getting preachy and maybe so, but, it is my desire that all come to know the Creator God of the universe and acknowledge Him because I love the people of His creation and like my Father Yehova, I don’t want any to be lost.

Blessings,

Grandma Peachy

About grandmapeachy

I am a retired grandmother and amateur quilter. Generally I do not discuss religion and politics with people other than my family and even then I do more listening than talking. Because I dislike confrontation this blog is a way for me to express opinions that I hold on these and other issues without having to delve into controversial discussions with others who may not agree with me. I am also an avid supporter of indie authors. There are a lot of great books that are not available through traditional publishing and I believe that these stories need to be brought to the attention of the reading public.

I totally agree with you about how our government is misleading us to take away our freedoms and lead us into a one world government. Unfortunately, the way it looks, it will be a Muslim world. If you really want to scare yourself, read Behold A Pale Horse by William Cooper. It’s his own personal story of what happened to him when he started questioning authority. When the blinders and ear muffs were removed. People don’t want to know, because they do, they have to take responsibility for it. Most people prefer to be ignorant than have to make a stand. But, they’ll make a stand over stupid stuff like transgender people and gay marriages. Whatever. Now, I’m getting preachy. LOL.

    • I don’t mind preachy. I think it will be more than just a Muslim religion. I think the “powers that be” will unite world religions into a single world religion. It will have elements of all. Constantine did much the same thing with melding Christianity with pagan traditions, which is why we celebrate Christmas and Easter when we do because it lines up with the timing of pagan celebrations. Now I’m nor against celebrating those holidays in the name of Christ. Paul mentioned that one person may celebrate a particular day to the glory of God and another not celebrate that day to the glory of God and neither is wrong because they do it to the glory of God. But there will be a deception that will convince the peoples of the world that this one world religion is the true religion. An event that that would deceive even the elect if that were possible. I think that is why believers need to study Bible prophesy to prepare themselves so they are not deceived. Off my pulpit now. LOL Blessings Sahara.
