Where Did the Weekend Go?

It’s Monday morning already and I haven’t prepared a post for today. The weekend went by so fast that I never sat down to write anything for today.calendar That doesn’t happen often.

I spent much of the weekend either reading or getting book reviews written for future posts or making sure I had interview questions ready for author interviews coming up.  Then there was making sure there is food to feed the family this coming week. The weekend slipped away.

The very end, Sunday evening, was the best part, family time. imageMy son and his family came over and we all sat around visiting while the grandkids ran around the front yard playing. Cousins, I love to see my grandkids having great times with the cousins. Reminds me of my kids and their cousins. Even as adults the cousins are close. I’m sure this next generation will be close as well. The thought makes me happy.image

So now  a new week has begun and I won’t be getting a lot of outside things done. I have four books to finish by the weekend. I will be reviewing all four on next Monday for a special blog tour. The week will march on past quickly then another weekend and I’m sure it too will slip away so quickly that again I’ll be wondering, “Where did the weekend go?”

Have  a great week. Check in daily to see who I interview this week and what books I review.

Grandma Peachy

About grandmapeachy

I am a retired grandmother and amateur quilter. Generally I do not discuss religion and politics with people other than my family and even then I do more listening than talking. Because I dislike confrontation this blog is a way for me to express opinions that I hold on these and other issues without having to delve into controversial discussions with others who may not agree with me. I am also an avid supporter of indie authors. There are a lot of great books that are not available through traditional publishing and I believe that these stories need to be brought to the attention of the reading public.
